I was honored when my good friend Kevin Watson, owner of Press 53, approached me about designing the cover for the 50th anniversary printing of John Ehle's famous novel. Move Over, Mountain was originally published in 1957 and was considered the first book written by a white author that portrayed African-Americans without stereotype. The finished design came from my heart and vision of the story as I read it.
More recently, Kevin awarded me the cover design to a compelling title: The Widow's Guide to Edible Mushrooms, a wonderful collection of short stories by Chauna Craig.
